Meet the dancers...
Erin Sanders
Erin Sanders is from North Little Rock, AR. She is a follower of Christ who attends The Summit Church. She began taking dance at a young age until she was 16 years old at Ms. Karen’s Dance Studio. She has experience in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, and hip hop. She went on after high school to obtain degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and University of Central Arkansas. She joined the dance team Etroupe with New Life Church while attending graduate school and has been a member for 3 years dancing jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and pointe for various events.
Although she has danced for many years, Erin recently asked God what it is like to truly dance for Him. She feels like His answer is in dancing that glorifies His name and is anointed by His Holy Spirit to encourage the body of Christ, break the chains of bondage in people’s lives, and to set the captives free! This will be Erin's second season with New Creation.

Kathleen Marleneanu
Kathleen Marleneanu is from Jasper, AR and currently lives in Maumelle, AR with her husband Tony. She started dancing at the age of 10 with Deborah Moore Academy of Dance, and continued training at Henderson State University. Kathleen performed with the HSU Dance Company for 4 years and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in English and minor in Dance. She did not know exactly how dance would remain a part of her life, but God has continued to grow her passion and open doors that only He can. Kathleen danced briefly in a show in Branson, MO before taking the position of dance teacher at the Benton County School of the Arts in Rogers, AR where she taught and directed the middle school dance program for 3 years.
Over the years, Kathleen has been blessed with opportunities to attend dance intensives in Chicago, Boulder, Wichita, Austin, Monroe, St. Louis, Laramie, and Houston, as well as to take classes in New York City and Los Angeles. She is trained in jazz, ballet, modern, lyrical, hip hop, and tap. Kathleen is beyond blessed to now have the opportunity to share her faith through dance with New Creation, and hopes to express the true joy and peace that she has found through Christ.

Kayla Derrick
Kayla Derrick lives in Maumelle, Arkansas with her husband, Ben. She is a recent graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance Performance and a minor in American Sign Language. Kayla’s passion for dance began in her hometown of Heber Springs, Arkansas, where she performed and taught at local studios, and participated in liturgical dance at her church. She has displayed her talent and fostered her love for dance through participation in five UALR dance concerts, in which she was featured as a performer and choreographer, and three American College Dance Festival conferences. She has also performed in two of UALR’s theatre productions. She has combined her knowledge of sign language and dance to fulfill her duties as a dance instructor at the Arkansas School for the Deaf. Kayla feels extremely blessed to be a part of New Creation Dance Company and to be using her talents for Him.
Sarah Jo Wright
Sarah Jo Wright is from Conway, AR. She received her dance training from Sonshine Academy of Dance beginning at the age of three. For the past four
years he has been a member of the Platinum Company which is the most advanced company in Sonshine’s dance program. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, modern, hip hop, and lyrical. This will be her sixteenth year as a dancer. Sarah Jo has been blessed to enhance her dance training by attending For the Love of Dance Workshops and recently took classes at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. She also attended the Ad Deum Summer Dance Intensive at Palm Beach Atlantic University under the direction of Randall Flinn. She has also been trained in gymnastics and competitive cheerleading and is a proficient tumbler. Sarah Jo is a recent graduate of Conway Christian School and has been the choreographer for the high school musicals for the past three years as well
as writing several of the musical arrangements. She is attending her first year of college at Pulaski Tech University while dancing with New Creation. She is so excited to be a part of this company and have the opportunity to use dance with the intentional purpose of glorifying God and ministering to others.
