Commitment:
By joining the New Creation Dance Kids (NCDK) weekly classes, you are committing to:
- Help teachers strive to promote respect, unity, friendship, and teamwork within classes.
- Stay involved by consistently attending classes and performances, helping New Creation fulfill its mission of using dance to glorify God in our communities through outreach and performances.
- Stay up to date by reading and responding when necessary to class correspondence (at time of registration, please provide your preferred email address and phone number).
- Follow all Class Policies (see below)
Enrollment:
- Enrollment is offered via an online Registration Form on our website (Early registration open through August 22nd; Class season begins in September after Labor Day, and continues through May).
- Students may enroll mid-season if there is room in a class. If you would like to try or observe a new class before committing for the season, please contact us to schedule your free trial class.
- Students may drop out mid-season with a 30-day written notice to New Creation, or otherwise pay a $30 dropout fee in addition to fulfilling the last month’s full tuition.
- Students will be placed by age and experience level, per the opinion of their teacher.
- New Creation may close or modify a class if its enrollment falls under the minimum or over the maximum amount beneficial for that class. (If a class is labeled "Closed", you can still let us know of your interest in the class, in case it does open at a later time.)
Attendance:
- Students are expected to attend classes on a regular basis throughout the season in order to grow in technique and learn choreography for performances (Please contact your teacher in case of extended absence due to health or travel).
- Students are expected to perform with their class at all scheduled performances (Christmas & Spring; please see our Class Dates 2021-22 page to save the dates!). If you know an absence from a performance is unavoidable, please contact your teacher immediately in order for the teacher and classmates to accommodate for your dancer’s absence from their class choreography.
Weather:
- In case of inclement weather, New Creation will follow Little Rock/North Little Rock School Districts for canceling classes. Every effort will be made to announce any cancellations on our social media pages and via email.
Student Drop off/Pick up*:
- For student safety and to receive any updates from teachers, we require that you accompany your child inside to drop them off, and return inside to pick them up after class.
- To make the most of our instructional time, please bring your child dressed and ready to dance, or allow enough time before class to do so.
- You are welcome to wait at the location during class (your teacher can direct you to available seating), or you may leave and return before the end of class.
